The situation at ZNPP may get out of control: Energodar residents are urged to leave the city

Must read

The situation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), whose workers are under physical pressure from the occupiers, can get out of control at any moment, so it is better for residents of the nearby Energodar to leave the city.

This was stated by the first deputy mayor of Energodar, Ivan Samoydyuk, in a commentary on the Radio Liberty project “News of the Sea of Azov”.

Nothing changes during the entire year of occupation that the Russian military is there. On the subject of whether they can threaten an accident at the ZNPP? Of course, there are no overt threats, but the way the station is operated, because there are depots of equipment and ammunition on the territory of the station, it is clear that the situation can get out of control and become critical at any time, ” Samoyduk said.

He stressed that it is better for residents to leave Energodar and the area around the city whenever possible.

Those for whom this is not possible now are advised, if transport is available, to keep it fully fueled with all emergency suitcases, paperwork collected, more valuable items and first time survival gear.

“Because if the situation gets out of control, then we can expect that they (the occupiers - ed.) will be obliged and forced to provide “corridors” for the population to leave such territory,” - added the deputy mayor of Energodar.

So far, in the Zaporozhye region, as the chairman of the OVA said, all the necessary plans and protocols are being worked out in case of the above-mentioned provocation.

We also note that, despite calls from the IAEA and world leaders, Russia continues to pose a danger to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The occupiers use power units as logistical and military bases.

As wrote, rashists are preparing a large-scale provocation to simulate an accident at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. To do this, a strike will be carried out directly on the territory of the ZNPP. After that, an emergency release of radioactive substances will be announced. Ukraine will traditionally be blamed for the incident. In order to hide their actions as much as possible, the Russians disrupted the rotation of the personnel of the permanent monitoring mission of the IAEA planned for today.
