Appointed to the position by Putin: the head of the so-called “Supreme Court of Crimea” will be tried for treason

Must read

The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has completed an investigation into the case against a former Crimean judge, whom the occupiers appointed as head of the illegally created so-called “Supreme Court of Crimea.”

According to media reports, we are talking about a former Crimean judge Igor Rodionov.

The indictment for high treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has already been sent to court. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 15 years with confiscation of property.

From the case materials it follows that before the occupation of the peninsula, Rodionov held the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Crimea, and after the annexation he went over to the side of the Russians and worked as part of an illegally created body.

Later, by decree of dictator Putin, the traitor was appointed to the post of head of the so-called Supreme Court of Crimea. He took part in organizing the activities and functioning of illegal judicial bodies, helped the occupation authorities suppress the resistance of Ukrainian citizens, and persecute people who opposed the invaders.

Thus, the traitor received from Putin the title of “Honored Lawyer of Russia.”

Let us recall that earlier the Security Service and the State Bureau of Investigation submitted to the court an indictment against the former head of the main department of the SBU in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Oleg Kulinich, who was detained in the summer of 2022.
