The SBU continues to identify “bloggers” who film the work of Ukrainian air defense during enemy air attacks. So, in particular, in the capital, where the singer Inna Voronova dropped by. And the other day in Odessa, a recidivist TikToker was detained, who, for the sake of hype, “exposed” the work of air defense during the Russian drone attack on Odessa on November 5.
According to the SBU, the defendant filmed the work of the Ukrainian air defense on a mobile phone camera and posted the corresponding media files on his Tik Tok page. In the description under this video, he indicated the exact time and location of the shooting. And within a matter of minutes, the video was included in the recommendations of many social network users, among whom were representatives of the Russian special services.
The information obtained in this way could be used by the occupiers to adjust repeated attacks on the city using missile weapons and kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type. SBU officers established the identity and location of the defendant and detained him.
According to the investigation, the attacker turned out to be a 35-year-old Odessa resident who had previously served a sentence for theft and robbery. During searches of his home, a mobile phone was found, which he used to illegally film and distribute videos of the Defense Forces’ combat work.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the video published by the TikToker was viewed by more than 40,000 users, and was subsequently distributed. The blogger explained his criminal actions with the desire to “increase” his audience.
According to the “Operational Armed Forces of Ukraine” channel, we are talking about Odessa resident Andrei Malykhin, who served time for robbery.
The detainee was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (dissemination of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations). The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him – detention in custody – is being decided. The perpetrator faces up to 8 years in prison.
Let us remind you that in May of this year, when Russia fired six Kinzhal missiles at Kiev, the SBU identified six “bloggers” who were filming the work of the air defense.
