The state of military discipline in the Russian army since the beginning of 2023 indicates that drunkenness is rampant in the armed forces. As it became known to the VChK-OGPU telegram channel, the number of incidents, crimes and cases of death of the Russian military associated with the use of alcoholic beverages is extremely high, which is also the reason for a sharp increase in non-combat losses among personnel. Both sanitary and irrevocable. At the disposal of the telegram channel was a selection of only a small number of crimes and adventures committed by drunken soldiers.

According to the number of recorded offenses by military personnel, the situation in the Belgorod region is difficult. For example, on January 22, 2023, servicemen of the 15th motorized rifle battalion, Corporal Rakhmatulloev S.A. and Private Zhilyasov T.R. drank alcohol in the tent. Upon learning of this, Senior Lieutenant Dekteryuk O.V. made a remark on the fact of inappropriate behavior, to which the indicated servicemen reacted inadequately and beat the senior lieutenant. As a result, the latter was diagnosed with multiple injuries, bruises and bone fractures.

But on January 31, the deputy commander of a platoon of the 15th motorized rifle regiment, Private Trembovetsky I.V. the deputy commander of the 1st motorized rifle company for military-political work, Captain P.L. Stepanov, arrived at the place of residence. and the commander of the 3rd motorized rifle platoon, Lieutenant Naletov V.M., where, while drinking alcohol together from a personal weapon, AK-74 shot officers.

On February 18, 2023, servicemen of the 1015th motorized rifle regiment of the territorial troops, junior sergeant Kurtsev M.S., corporal Moiseev D.A. and Petrushenko I.S., being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, knocked out the gate of a private house at the Bondarenko farm, house 21 and used physical violence against the citizens living in the house.

Another story happened on March 6th. Then the servicemen of the 25th separate motorized rifle brigade Petrov M.D. and Lenin V.G., being in combat positions, consumed alcoholic beverages and decided to continue drinking, arrived at the address of n.p. Olyshany. Civilians Bondarenko I.A., Bondarenko V.V. lived at this address. and Vyazovsky O.A. Corporal Petrov entered the building, and Private Lenin V.G. stayed on the street. A few minutes later, the private heard loud voices, the noise of a quarrel, shots and a grenade explosion. A reserve group arrived at the sound of a shot and found the deceased Vyazovsky A.A. and other participants in the conflict with injuries of varying severity.
