Until the end of April, some Ukrainians living in the liberated territories will receive financial assistance from two international organizations. This was recalled at the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

“A one-time financial assistance in the amount of 1,200 hryvnia from the Red Cross and 2,200 hryvnia from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) can count on anyone who did not leave the liberated regions before the de-occupation”- the message says.

At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk assured that the money would be received by the end of April to everyone, “regardless of age and gender.”

To receive assistance, residents of the de-occupied territories should contact local governments or designated military administrations, where lists of citizens are compiled.

It is also noted that as of March 23, 2023, more than 155 thousand citizens in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk and Mykolaiv regions received cash assistance in the amount of UAH 1,200 from the Red Cross. In addition, with the financial support of the IOM, more than 39,000 people in the liberated territories of Kharkiv, Kherson and Donetsk regions were paid 2,200 hryvnia per month.

As FACTS wrote, some of the pensioners will pay a one-time financial assistance on the occasion of their birthday.
