The Verkhovna Rada has registered a draft law, according to which it is planned to gradually raise the level of the minimum wage in Ukraine during 2023, starting from April 1. The draft law is posted on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Appropriate changes are proposed to be made to the Law on the State Budget of Ukraine.
Thus, bill No. 8431 provides for an increase in the monthly minimum wage in several stages:
from April 1 - 7370 UAH;
from July 1 - 8107 UAH;
from October 1 - 8918 UAH.
Recall that last year, when drafting the state budget for 2023, it was decided to abandon the planned increase in the minimum wage and living wage for the next year. This was done in light of the economic situation in Ukraine caused by the ongoing war. It is not yet known whether a bill will be passed to change this decision.
