The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 83 invaders attacks, destroyed 13 tanks, 19 artillery systems and more than 600 invaders

The three hundred and ninety-third day of the Russian large-scale invasion began. The Russian Federation does not abandon its intentions for the complete occupation of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Miners directions, and defends in others.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled 83 enemy attacks on the eastern sector of the front, the General Staff reported.

The Russian aggressor continues to use its usual tactics of terrorizing the civilian population, shelling settlements, as well as critical infrastructure facilities.

Over the past day, the enemy launched a missile attack on Zaporozhye. Russian missiles hit a residential high-rise building. There are dead and wounded civilians.

The enemy also launched 48 air strikes, in particular on civilian critical infrastructure facilities in the Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. the invaders used 21 Shahed-136 UAVs from the Bryansk region, 16 of these drones were shot down. As a result of attacks by enemy UAVs, civilians were killed and wounded. The invaders also made 75 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.

On the Kupyansk and Limansk directions, the enemy continues to try to break our defenses.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy is conducting offensive operations, losing a significant amount of manpower, weapons and military equipment. Our defenders around the clock beat off numerous enemy attacks in Bakhmut, Bogdanovka and Predtechina.

On the Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Mining directions, the enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Novokalinovo, Stepnoye, Berdichi, Avdeevka, Lastochkino, Severnoye, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Maryinka and Pobeda - they were not successful. More than 20 districts of settlements were subjected to enemy shelling.

In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive. More than 45 settlements were subjected to shelling, which is not far from the collision line.

According to the General Staff, in the settlements of Reshetilovskoe, Mlechnoye and Konstantinovka of the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region, Russian invaders forbade residents to leave their homes.

Indirectly, this may indicate the attempts of the Russian occupiers to exclude the possibility of the local population observing the planned overturning of their manpower and military equipment by the enemy to the line of combat.

The Russians, despite numerous casualties, are taking measures to replenish their units. Thus, in one of the military units, which is deployed in South Ossetia, active work is being carried out with conscripts regarding the signing of contracts by them and their further participation in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. It was established that over 50 Russian conscripts signed the contract during the period from March 1 to March 10. They, having not received proper combat training, were sent to Melitopol, Zaporozhye region.

During the day, Ukrainian aviation struck at the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile system, as well as 12 strikes at the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. Our rocket and artillery units hit 1 command post, 3 enemy personnel concentration areas, ammunition and 1 enemy electronic warfare station.

As a result of the actions of our military, over the past day, the enemy also lost:

- personnel 168 150 (+660) people,

- tanks - 3570 (+13) units,

- armored fighting vehicles - 6898 (+11) units,

- artillery systems - 2608 (+19) units,

- MLRS - 511 (+2) units,

- air defense systems - 273 (+1) units,

- UAV operational-tactical level - 2203 (+20),

- automotive equipment and tankers - 5452 (+18) units,

- special equipment - 273 (+3).

Recall that on March 22, as a result of strikes by occupiers, Ukrainian civilians were killed and seriously injured. In the morning, as a result of a Russian UAV hitting the territory of a vocational school in Rzhishchev in the Kyiv region, 8 people were killed.

On the afternoon of March 22, an enemy missile hit between two nine-story buildings in Zaporozhye. 34 people were injured, 29 of them, including a child, are in the hospital. One person died.
