A 29-year-old was buried in Ilintsy, Vinnytsia region defender Dmitry Mikulin. On March 6, while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Nevelsk, Donetsk region, the soldier, together with his brothers, held back the enemy’s onslaught to the last and received injuries incompatible with life.
“Dmitry comes from the Genichesk district of the Kherson region. Always smiling, kind, sincere, ready to help - this is what his friends say about him. With his charisma and sincerity, the guy attracted people to him. Dmitry studied well at school, from childhood he was fond of football. He was a pet of the Youth Sports School “Azovets” Genichesk. Played in the football and futsal team of Ivanovka, - reports the Ilyinets territorial community. - Successfully graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Taurida Agrotechnological University. Dmitry Motorny. Teachers and fellow students remember Dmitry as a responsible, sincere and modest student, a patriot of Ukraine. He did not leave his favorite sport while studying at the university. The guy was a member of the national football team, and also played for the Melitopol Cherry football team.

Dmitry worked as a teacher of physical culture and sports at the Ivanovo Lyceum. On October 20, 2021, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He considered it his duty to defend his native country. Due to the fact that the native village of the fighter was occupied, they decided to bury him in the Vinnitsa region. The hero was buried with military honors to the sound of the Anthem of Ukraine and volleys of shots from the guard of honor at the Central Cemetery in the city of Ilyinka. He is survived by his parents and sister.
