Participants in the fighting protecting our state are entitled to a number of benefits related to medical care, financial assistance, housing and others.
Recently, the Cabinet of Ministers settled the issue of confirming the status of persons directly involved in hostilities in order to apply military tax benefits. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The decree of March 17 defines the conditions under which it is possible to receive tax relief from military collection of monetary allowances. This benefit applies to persons directly participating in hostilities under martial law.
That is, now the military tax will not be taxed on the income of military personnel for the period of their direct participation in the war.
To receive benefits, you must provide extracts or copies of orders from commanders or managers confirming the payment of additional remuneration in accordance with the law.
Previously, confirmation of benefits for direct participants in hostilities was carried out on the basis of extracts from orders for the arrival of the military.
Recall that the military tax for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of 1.5% of the income of citizens was introduced in 2014.

I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job.
I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others.
