Travelers at Terminal 5 of London Heathrow Airport were in for an incredible surprise: they were greeted by an unexpected guest from the famous TV series. Doctor Who – Far away, that’s right. The Doctor’s most formidable adversary was seen at the terminal on Friday 27 October. This caused a real buzz among British Airways customers. Some passengers were seen taking photos with the Dalek, while others eeriely wondered what it was.

Ironically, the Dalek also appeared in the departures section. Guess where he was going? Skaro. The Dalek humorously seemed to check in for the flight at Skaro is a fictional planet and home of the Daleks. this is definitely not one of the usual destinations offered by British Airways. The surprise event was part of a celebratory collaboration and marketing campaign between British Airways and BBC Studios to mark the company’s 60th anniversary. Doctor Who. The goal is to warm people up and get the word out about upcoming specials to celebrate the franchise’s 60th anniversary. The special issue will feature David Tennant And Catherine Tate who will reprise their roles. The broadcast will begin on November 25.

Moreover, the cooperation between the two giants is also of a special nature. Doctor Who in-flight entertainment channelwhich will be available to passengers on long-haul flights from November 1. The channel promises 13 specially selected episodes of the world’s longest-running sci-fi series.

How many episodes will David Tennant be back for?

Both Tennant and Tate reprise their roles as the Doctor and Donna Nobble respectively in the series’ 60th anniversary special, which will span three episodes.
