On Friday, March 18, new NSDC sanctions were introduced. The list includes more than 400 people and companies, most of which are Russian – from the military-industrial complex of the terrorist state. In addition, Ukraine has imposed restrictions on persons from Iran and Syria who help Russian terrorists in Ukraine.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an address following the results of the 388th day of the war.
“We carefully study each such sanction step. Ukrainian sanctions are part of the global pressure on Russia. All those who produce weapons for terror against Ukraine, who help Russia to foment aggression, in particular, by supplying “shaheeds”, who support Russia’s destruction of international law, can only be marginalized for the world. Those who will finally be held accountable for everything they do against our people, against people in general, against international law.”– the head of state is sure.
This will concern not only terror against Ukrainians, not only attempts to annex our land, starting with Crimea, but also other Russian aggressions against the international order, against normal, peaceful human life, in particular, on the territory of Syria.
“The people of Syria have not received adequate international protection, and this has given the Kremlin and its accomplices a sense of impunity. The cities of Syria were destroyed by Russian bombs, as well as our Ukrainian cities. It is in this impunity that a significant part of the current aggressiveness of the Kremlin lies.” — stressed the Ukrainian leader.
