In Ukraine, they are trying to move away from paper bureaucracy, so more and more Ukrainians use the Action application, where you can get a huge number of services without leaving your home.
As for pensioners, the application has recently introduced the ability to download a pension certificate, you can also apply for a subsidy, pension.
But, unfortunately, not all pensioners have a smartphone, the Internet, not all older people can use modern gadgets.
Mstislav Banik, head of the development of electronic services of the Ministry of Digital Development, spoke about this in an interview with Social Platform.
“This is a really important issue, we understood this from the very beginning. Some steps and solutions have already been introduced. We have a whole direction “Action. Digital Education”. This is a website. You can open Google and enter digital education. There are a lot of topics in the format of short series: starting with how to use something, how to log in somewhere, how to create mail, and ending with how to pay for a communal apartment”- said the official.
Also, for each service, specialists of the Ministry remove instructions to show where to click, explain what to write and in which field.
As for free smartphones, according to Mstislav Banik, the war delayed this issue.
“I think you remember that literally last February we started discussing the presidential project, according to which people should get smartphones. It was about several million basic (inexpensive - ed.) smartphones that could be provided to people. It is clear that during the war the state has other priorities. This question is being postponed, but I am sure that we will return to it.- Summed up Mstislav Banik.
That is, while the dream of pensioners about a free smartphone remains only a dream, but we hope that soon after the victory of Ukraine in the war, they will definitely return to it.
