In Zaporozhye, a 23-year-old guy killed a pensioner from whom he rented a house.
As reported in the regional police headquarters, the tragedy occurred in the Kommunarsky district. During a sudden conflict, the guy inflicted injuries incompatible with life on the owner, then stole the property of his victim and fled the scene of the crime.
Law enforcement officers detained the defendant in Kyiv. He faces up to 15 years in prison for what he did.
During the operational activities, law enforcement officers found that the deceased rented out a room in his house from time to time. A young man, released from prison, rented housing from a pensioner for a week.
Somehow, a quarrel arose between the owner and the lodger, as a result of which the attacker inflicted multiple bodily injuries on the grandfather with his fists. The man died at the scene from his injuries. The guy appropriated 8,000 hryvnia, four mobile phones, binoculars, 75 Soviet-style coins and other property belonging to the deceased.
To avoid punishment for what he did, the defendant left the city. He was detained.
The guy admitted his guilt and even told where he hid the stolen property.
Recall that in the Zhytomyr region, a conflict between two fellow villagers led to a tragedy - a man killed his neighbor. The suspect was arrested by the police.
