On Saturday, September 24, the American streaming company Netflix presented a short trailer for the fifth season of the series “The Crown” and announced the date of its premiere. It will be available to Netflix subscribers on November 9th. As with each of the previous four seasons, the fifth consists of 10 episodes. They cover events that happened to members of the British royal family in the 90s of the last century.
The main thing in the fifth season will be the collapse of the marriage of Prince Charles and Diana. However, the audience will not see the death of Lady Di yet. The creators of The Crown decided to show this tragedy in the sixth season, which will probably be the final one.

Diana is played by Elizabeth Debicki in the fifth season. She succeeded Emma Corrin. The role of Charles went to popular actor Dominic West. Queen Elizabeth II is now played by Imelda Staunton. Jonathan Pryce will portray Prince Philip on screen. Leslie Manville got the role of Princess Margaret. Prince Andrew is played by James Murray. Another important character of the fifth season is Dodi al-Fayed. He is played by British actor Khalid Abdullah.

Earlier, FACTS reported that Netflix began filming the fourth part of the cult action comedy “Beverly Hills Cop” starring Eddie Murphy.
