The labor market in Ukraine continues to suffer from the war - in four rear regions and in the Nikolaev region, the country’s largest drop in the level of average wages was recorded at once. This is evidenced by the data of the personnel portal grc.ua.
In Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Vinnitsa regions in early September, there is a negative trend in the average wage in open vacancies.
So, in the Zhytomyr region in September there was a decrease in the average salary in open vacancies by 24% (from UAH 15,900 in August to UAH 12,100 in September), in the Cherkasy region, the offered salary fell by 19% (from UAH 15,100 in August to 200) UAH in September), and in the Poltava region, employers are willing to pay 18% less.
The greatest positive dynamics was shown by salaries in open vacancies in Kharkiv and the region. If in August new employees of this region were offered an average of UAH 10,600, then in early autumn there are offers of UAH 23,500, that is, 121% more than in August. A tangible increase in the average wage offered by open vacancies by employers was also demonstrated in September in Sumy, Chernivtsi and Ternopil regions.
But in terms of the level of wages offered by employers, the leadership in Ukraine is held by the capital, where its figure has remained almost unchanged since May, and in September amounted to UAH 29,400.
