In Odessa, a drunken man gave his common-law wife a “jealousy scene” when she came home “late” - he mercilessly beat the poor bottle and put his bloodied victim out the door. From her injuries, the 31-year-old victim died right in the elevator. This was reported in the regional police department.
Seeing subsequently a woman with no signs of life, the jealous man distracted her home, and only then called the police by phone.
Employees of police department No. 4 of the Odessa district police department No. 1 seized material evidence from the crime scene, including a broken bottle, with which the person involved had beaten the victim.
After that, the jealous man was detained and reported on suspicion of committing an offense under Part 2 of Art. 121 of the Criminal Code. For intentional grievous bodily harm that caused the death of the victim, a man may face a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 10 years.
It should be reminded that not only women, but also young children often become victims of violence. So, last year in the Kharkiv region, a six-year-old girl was found murdered, who went for a walk in the evening with a teenage neighbor and did not return home. The girl’s body was later found in an abandoned building. A 13-year-old neighbor is suspected of her murder.
