The Kyiv police submitted to the court materials about a 27-year-old man for corrupting a 7-year-old girl. This was reported to the Metropolitan Police.
It is reported that the 27-year-old man lured the child to his apartment, promising him that he could play with his dog there. But in the apartment he committed indecent acts against the girl.
The incident occurred at the end of May this year in one of the high-rise buildings of the Podolsky district.
Law enforcement officers found out that the girl was playing with a dog on the street, and when the owner of the animal was about to leave home, he invited the child to go with them.
As soon as the minor was in the attacker’s apartment, he committed indecent acts against her.
Employees of the juvenile prevention department quickly detained the suspect - he was a 27-year-old native of Mykolaiv region who arrived in Kyiv and settled in the same house with the victim.
The man recently retired from prison, where he was serving a sentence for the murder of his brother.
The court chose a measure of restraint for the figurant - detention. The man faces up to eight years in prison.
