Blizzard’s Diablo 4 closed beta has begun. Or maybe it’s better to say that it should move, because something happened to which all fans of games from this manufacturer are rather accustomed to.
Almost all the players who remember the second part of the cult title fondly are waiting for Diablo 4. Even if they pre-ordered the game and wanted to play the closed beta today, they will have to wait even longer.
Diablo 4 Classic Blizzard Premiere
Hopes that maybe this time everything will not be the same as usual were immediately dispelled. Players who pre-order the game on March 17 at 5:00 PM PT will be able to log in and participate in the Closed Beta. This should have been a reward for those who almost blindly supported the producer, based on the announcements and the extremely atmospheric trailer.
Unfortunately, access to the game is almost impossible. My login attempt was initially successful about 10 minutes into the beta. This allowed me to watch the intro video (that’s what this atmospheric masterpiece should be called) and create a character. We can choose between barbarian, sorcerer and thief. The screen also features a necromancer and a druid, but they are unplayable in the beta. The creation of the character itself is also much more extensive than in the previous parts.
Diablo 4 beta, the game we don’t know what it looks like
And that would be it. After creating the character, I loaded the game world, and immediately after that, an error appeared that automatically turned off the entire program. Another login attempt put me in a queue that was scheduled for 62 minutes.
But I’m not the only one unlucky. Many players are having issues with countless bugs and game crashes. This is clearly seen on the streaming service Twitch. Many streamers try to play the game but when they try to login they are just as unhappy as me.
Yes, I remember writing about the beta, which is used to catch bugs. However, knowing the experience of premieres of other titles from this manufacturer, we can expect that the problem may recur.
