“Apple shipped more devices to North America in the first quarter of 2022 after prioritizing other regions in the last quarter of 2021,” said Canalys analyst Brian Lynch.

According to Canalys, 311 million smartphones were shipped worldwide in the first quarter of 2022, with Samsung being the most popular manufacturer with 73.7 million units shipped.

Apple came in second with 56.5 million smartphone shipments, followed by Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo.

In Poland, the most popular smartphone manufacturer in the first quarter of 2022 was Samsung with a 31% market share. Xiaomi came in second with a 25% share but recorded a 24% year-on-year drop. One of the newest brands on the Polish market – realme – took third place. For the year it increased by 273%. and collected 13 percent of the market. Only in fourth place in Poland was Apple with 10 percent. market. Lenovo, owner of the Motorola brand, came in fifth with a 6% share.
