Marathon runner got into PZLA
After the end of the fight, the marathon runner gave an interview to Przegląd Sportowy, in which he admitted that he thought it would be a little easier. - Although we are in Europe, I ran much worse than at the Tokyo Olympics. Nowicki is the first Pole since 2005 to take part in a marathon at the World Championships. In an interview with reporters, he admitted that he did not have the proper preparation to achieve a good result.

Adam Nowicki: I spend a lot out of my own pocket
When asked whether it was possible to agree on a climate camp with PZLA, he replied that it was not. “I spend a lot from my own pocket and money raised by sponsors. As a human being, there was no money to prepare for the World Cup. I thought that if I did the minimum, then PZLA would give me this camp, but they really surprised me, and I got the national camp,” he continued.
Adam Nowicki emphasized that it is very difficult to be a marathon runner in Poland, and the Polish army allows him to combine professional work with sports. If not for this opportunity, he probably would have had to choose between training and travel and family support.
