Very good news for the fans of the ŁKS Commercecon Łódź volleyball team. Valentina Diouf will remain at the club for next season. The Italian volleyball player was the best foreign player in the Tauron League and now she has decided to stay at the club in Łódź.
Valentina Diouf joined the Łódź team after playing in Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia. The attacker has silver in the Champions League (2015) and the CEV Cup (2017), as well as the Italian Super Cup (2011). In the Tauron Liga, she showed her best side. She immediately became one of the most important figures in the ŁKS Commercecon team.

Therefore, the news about the decision of the Italian volleyball player should please the Polish fans all the more. Diouf, who is 30 years old, decided to stay in Lodz for another year. In addition to domestic competitions, ŁKS Commercecon will represent Poland in the most prestigious CEV cup - the Champions League.
“I decided to stay at the club because at the stage of my career where I am, if you are in good shape and win, there is no reason to change. It was an easy decision. I like the girls, the staff, the fans and the city, so it was really easy […] We had an amazing, perfect season and I would like to keep it that way. Of course, first of all I want to keep what I have the most influence on, which is to be in shape at the same level. As for the team, I would like to wish us something more than last season, - confessed the Italian volleyball player from ŁKS.
In the 2022/23 season, Diouf made 28 appearances, scoring 503 points. The Italian impressed with efficiency, statistically confirming Tauron Liga games with 43 percent in this regard. Diouf has also received seven Game MVP awards.
