Another Polish volleyball player will go to Japan. Details revealed

Must read

There are many signs that not only Alexander Slivka from the Poles will move to the Japanese championship next season. Michal Muzay will do the same.

The Japanese League is an attractive destination for Polish volleyball players. Bartosz Kurek has been playing in the V-League for several years now, playing for the Wolfdogs Nagoya team. Previously, Michal Kubiak became a Panasonic Panthers legend. Kurek will return to Poland in the new season, but this does not mean that we will not have more representatives in the land of cherry blossoms. Alexander Slivka, who won everything he could with Grupa Azoty-ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, will join Suntory Sunbirds. But this is not the end.

Michal Muzaj will perform in the capital of Japan

The portal sport.tvp.pl, citing two sources, reported that the Tokyo Great Bears team will be strengthened by Michal Muzaj. This is an unexpected transfer. Muzay is, of course, a very famous name, a representative of Poland. However, it seems that his previous seasons were better than the current one he is spending at PSG Stal Nysa. We would like to remind you that he previously played, in particular, for Asseko Resovia Rzeszow, PGE Skra Belchatow and Jastrzembski Wegiel.

Jakub Balcerzak also reported this on the website sport.tvp.pl on the X platform. Tokyo Great Bears are in seventh place in the standings this season.

Japan selects outstanding players

The next season in Japan promises to be very interesting. Fans can’t complain about the level of competition now, but in the next campaign the foreigner limit for all teams will be increased. While there could only be one non-Japanese volleyball player on the roster, now there will be two.

As the website sport.tvp.pl emphasizes, this means an increase in traffic on the transfer exchange. Clubs create strong teams, and the kings of the hunt will most likely be the JTEKT Stings activists. It is expected that American Tory Defalco and Brazilian Ricardo Lucarelli will go there.
