On Monday, February 12, Dynamo Kiev, which failed to beat the Macedonian Shkendija (1:1), played a test match at the second preparatory training camp in Turkey against the two-time (and current) Latvian champion club RFS, where the ex-Dinamo player works as the sports director Maris Verpakovskis.

Let us note that in preparation for the season, Victor Moroz’s team won all five matches with a total score of 19:3 (against the Lithuanian “Panevėžys” – 2:0, and also against the Estonian “Tallinn Kalev” – 5:0. “Paide” – 4:1, “Nimme Kalju” – 2:1 and “Flora” – 6:1).

“Dynamo” (Kyiv, Ukraine) – RFS (Riga, Latvia) – 1:0

“Dynamo”: Morgun (Bushchan, 46), Dubinchak (Ovcharenko, 71), Dyachuk, Sirota (Mikhavko, 71), Gusev (Karavaev, 71), Shepelev (Brazhko, 71), Shaparenko (Voloshin, 71), Tsarenko (Buyalsky) Tsarenko, 88), Benito (Ponomarenko, 71), Diallo (Kabaev, 71), Supryaga (Vanat, 71).

Goal: Shaparenko (69, penalty).

By the way, good news came from the Kiev camp. One of the team leaders, Andrei Yarmolenko, who has not played since October 1, began training with the ball in the general group after a serious knee injury.

The next opponent of the “white-blues” in Turkey will be on Tuesday, February 13, the vice-champion of Georgia, Tbilisi “Dynamo”.

Let us add that Dynamo Kyiv will resume their performances in the Ukrainian Premier League on February 25 with an away match against Kharkov Metalist 1925, which was led by Vorskla ex-mentor Viktor Skripnik in the winter. The meeting will take place at the home arena of the “white-blues” – the Valery Lobanovsky Stadium.

Earlier, FACTS reported that Dynamo defeated the former Latvian champion Liepaja at a training camp in Turkey.
