Jan Blachowicz pointed out the best Polish MMA fighter in history

The former UFC light heavyweight world champion took part in the Coliseum magazine. As part of the “10 Gong” format, which consists of only answering questions with “yes” and “no”, he was asked if he considered himself the best Polish MMA fighter in history. Jan Blachowicz did not hesitate and answered in the affirmative without any problems. However, is it surprising? Hardly anyone had such a rich career in the history of Polish MMA.

The 40-year-old boxer had his first professional fight in 2007 at the age of 24. Since then, he has entered the octagon 39 times and won 29 of them. Most often, he won his fights by decision of the judges, as many as 11 times, while ending the fights nine times by knockout or submission. The last time he went into the cage was on December 10, 2022 at the UFC 282 tournament. His opponent at that time was the Russian Magomed Ankalaev and it was a fight for the championship belt, but it ended in a draw and we did not meet the new champion.

Warriors challenge Jan Blachowicz

Legendary UFC fighter Chael Sonnen confirmed on his YouTube channel that the Pole has declared his readiness to fight Alex Pereira, who he thinks would be very interesting.

After some time, the Brazilian Paulo Costa expressed a desire to fight the Pole. The fighter offered to hold their confrontation on May 6 at UFC 299 in Newark, as many fighters withdrew due to injuries. “Tseshin prince” has not yet answered.
