On Monday, two representatives of the Polish national football team met with reporters during a press conference. This is coach Michal Probez and defender Jakub Kivior. Interestingly, the coach revealed the Polish lineup for the match on Wednesday.
– In goal, Bulka and Szczesny will defend in half of the field. Zalewski will be at left back, followed by Kiwior, Wieteska and Bednarek at centre, and Frankowski at right back. The midfield will be Damian Szymanski, Sebastian Szymanski and Piotrowski. Lewandowski and Buxa will be in front. If nothing happens, of course, because you know how it happens,” Probir said during a meeting with media representatives.
The Poles will play Latvia on Tuesday evening at the PGE National Stadium. The friendly match will start at 20:45. The following players will not play in the national team: Pavel Bochniewicz was injured, Piotr Zielinski was excluded due to illness, and Mateusz Lengovski and Patrick Peda were delegated to the U-21 national team.
