The current season of the Ski Jumping World Cup is coming to an end. The last stop in the current campaign is Planica. We remind you the schedule of the World Cup competitions and give a general classification of flights.
Jumpers and fans have the last World Cup competitions ahead. The last stop of the players and their coaches is Planica, where they have already played this season. This time the competition takes place on mammoth hill. Qualifications were held on Thursday, in which the Slovenes excelled.
Thursday Qualifying results
It was won by Anže Lanisek, who was able to jump 239 meters from a lowered log. Second place went to Timi Seitz. The Slovene jumped over the hill in Planica and landed at 241.5 meters. And on the lowest step of the podium was Domen Prevc, who ran a distance of 230 meters.
As for the white-reds, Kamil Stoch showed himself best of all, taking 10th place. 11th and 12th places were taken by Petr Zhyla and Alexander Znishhol. Andrzej Stenkala finished 32nd. Unfortunately, Jan Habdas did not qualify for the competition, he finished the qualification in 55th place and Paweł Vonsek in 60th.
