Polish jumpers celebrated winning the bronze medal in the team event in Lahti in an unusual way. Kamil Stoch’s Instagram profile has a photo with a special dedication to David Kubacki and his sick wife.
On March 25, team competitions in ski jumping were held, in which the wards of Thomas Turnbichler showed themselves excellently. In Lahti, they won a bronze medal, although this season the team lacked the best player - David Kubacki, who is now looking after his wife in the hospital. After the competition, they dedicated the victory to them.

In Finland, only four of our compatriots were able to take part in Saturday competitions, so Jan Habdash and Tomasz Pilch had no starts this time. The breeder put Kamil Stoch, Piotr Zhyla, Pavel Vonska and Oleksandr Zniszhol in the “team team”. As it turned out, he was perfect for the team, because the white-reds finished the competition on the podium. They scored 1022.3 points. The second Slovenes had 1031.1, and the first Austrians had 1057.3.
Shortly after the end of the competition, Stoch appeared before the cameras of Eurosport, where he mentioned that this was a triumph for the vice-leader of the World Cup classification and his partner. – We dedicate this podium to our dear David and Martusa. We have our fingers crossed for you and our hearts are with you,” he told Eurosport.

In addition, the 36-year-old player posted a touching photo on his Instagram, in which we see all the members of the team and the coaching staff with their hands folded in hearts. “Successful day. From the bottom of my heart with Martha and David,” the caption under the photo says.
A few hours earlier, Kubatsky had himself delivered the good news about his wife’s health.
“Recently, our family has been more unpredictable than ski jumping. At no competition have I been as stressed as hearing the continuous sound of my wife’s vitals monitors. Today is the day of the competition, and for us the first victory. March is stable and every day brings some progress. Thank you for your support,” he wrote on Instagram.
