Every minute it becomes known about more and more victims of the devastating earthquakes that took place on the territory of Turkey and Syria.

Among the dead among them are many athletes. Yes. it became known about the death of ex-forward of the Syrian national team Nader Juhadar (he scored 9 goals in 14 matches for the national team in 1995-1997), who was found under the rubble of a house in the Syrian city of Jabla along with his minor son Tadzha.

It is noteworthy that in July last year, Juhadar was appointed head coach of the Lebanese club Salam Zgharta, but a month before the start of the national championship, he was fired - and Nader returned to his homeland.

As part of the Syrian national team, Juhadar played 14 matches and scored 9 goals.

Tragic news is also coming from Turkey. In particular, the club of the second local division “Yeni Malatyaspor” reported that the 28-year-old goalkeeper of the team Eyup Turkaslan became a victim of the earthquake and the collapse of the house.

Rescuers also found the bodies of a married sports couple - 26-year-old Merino volleyball player Betul Choban Chakir and 28-year-old Hulkbank volleyball player Bedrettin Chakir - lifeless.
