Maciej Savitsky arrested
On Wednesday, November 23, Kanal Sportowy, whose president is Savitsky, referred to the Savitsky case. “Currently Maciej Sawicki is under interrogation. We respect the work of the Polish services, but we are also convinced of the honesty of Maciek and are waiting for the resolution of the case. The topic does not concern the TV channel “Sport”, and we will not give additional comments.
Savitsky about the detention of the Central Bank
On Thursday, November 24, Savitsky himself spoke about the investigation, emphasizing that he should provide his full name. “Two days ago, the CBA detained me and took me to Szczecin for interrogation. The request for arrest was not accepted, no charges of corruption were brought against me, ”he said. He assured that he had nothing to do with this, and the only charge against him was causing financial damage to the PZPN.
Savitsky comments on the allegations: Absurd
“I consider this to be completely absurd, and my lawyer does not even notice the signs of any crime,” Savitsky assured. “The only thing I did was sign a contract as part of my function, which made the union a lot of money, and that’s all the evidence. The contract, like any other contract, was initialed by a person appointed for this purpose by the board,” continued Savitsky. Finally, the author of the communiqué wrote that he was calmly waiting for the end of the case and thanked him for his support.
