The 33-year-old triathlete Neira Odobasic from Bosnia and Herzegovina has died. She took part in sports competitions many times, thanks to which she gained fame not only in her country, but also in other parts of Europe. A few days ago, she was thinking about her future sports goals. The cause of death has not been established.
Neira Odobasic was a participant in one of the most difficult sports. Triathlon is divided into three stages: swimming, cycling and running, and the Bosnian was able to complete one of the most difficult events in this discipline, Noresman, which takes place in Norway. She was one of 160 people who managed to perform this act.

The Bosnian website klix.ba was the first to report the death of the athlete. Neira Odobasic was found dead in her home around 1:00 a.m. on the night from Sunday to Monday (23/24/10). Bosnian police investigate the sudden death of a triathlete.
At the moment, there is no more information about what could have contributed to the death of the Bosnian woman. Shortly after the end of the competition, Norwegian Neira Odobasic called on the young athletes of her country to put more effort and motivation into their work. She tried to encourage girls to break barriers.

Neira Odobasic has been professionally involved in sports for many years, and triathlon has become not only a challenge for her, but, above all, a great passion. The aforementioned Norwegian placed 22nd in the women’s category and 103rd overall. It took her 14 hours 36 minutes and 35 seconds.
In addition to sports, she was also involved in computer programming. Some time ago, she founded her own company, although she paid more attention to sports life.
