Jakub Mayerski won the bronze medal
Mayersky flew to Rome with a score that gave him 3rd place on the starting lists. However, some concerns arose after the qualifying rounds, where he finished only 9th. - Allowed, but it was only about qualifications, - the 22-year-old athlete reassured.
Mayerski had a poor start to the final race. He was seventh at mid-distance. But the second part was great. He finished third! Unsurpassed was the Hungarian Christoph Milak, and the Swiss Noe Ponti won the silver.
