Artur Boruc has definitely completed his professional football adventure. The 42-year-old football player decided to thank him for the wonderful farewell prepared by Legia Warszawa and the fans of this club. He posted an emotional post on Instagram.

Artur Boruc has already officially retired from the sport. On Wednesday, July 26, a special farewell match took place, and the whole event was called King’s Party. Legia Warsaw met Celtic Glasgow, in whose colors the 42-year-old also played. The military ended up drawing 2-2, and the former representative of Poland saved his team from a missed goal several times.

The goalkeeper completed the first 45 minutes. He then left the field, only to reappear at the end of the game. There was also an honorary row thrown by teammates and tears of tenderness. About a week after those events, Artur Boruk had to speak on social networks.

The bouncer added an Instagram post in which he shared his thoughts with his fans. In the beginning, he emphasized that emotions are just falling and his life is now facing a new reality. In addition, he decided to thank everyone who specially for him and not only went to the Legia Warszawa stadium. “Physically or mentally, they applauded or hated me. You made this day something special,” he wrote.

After a while added. “Thank you to all of you, individually and collectively, for every word that was said to me during my adventure with the ball. Every gesture that made me want more… Without you there would be no Boruc, without you there would be no me… Thank you,” the 42-year-old concluded.
