- It was not such a good jump as in the first series, emotions crept in, there is no escape from this. It also showed me that not everything has to be perfect, I don’t always have to perfect everything, but sometimes I can afford to be wrong. What’s important is the energy I put into the jump and the joy I took out of it all,” Stoch said after the win.

- We fought to the very end. I really wanted to win, but, unfortunately, it was not enough. Yesterday I was a little more lucky, today Kamil was lucky. Thus, we shared these results, so I think that each of us will be satisfied, - said Kubatsky after the competition.

For Stoch, it was the twelfth career win in the Summer Grand Prix series. After Sunday’s triumph, he did not hide his emotions.

- Of course, I was touched. It was a great day for me. I’m glad I won the competition. I don’t care that someone was gone, or that it’s summer. I’m just glad I won the competition. It is important for me that I build self-confidence and such joy. I collect rewards for my work,” he stressed.

- True, two weeks ago we had a training camp here and I was tired at the jumping training, I could not get up from the threshold. Moreover, I am glad that I managed to mobilize so much for the competition that I made the best jumps on both days, - said the 27-year-old athlete.

Coach Thomas Turnbichler also noted his success. - I’m very impressed with Volna’s Cuba because in the last few weeks he’s been struggling and a little tired. Today’s performance was very, very good. Kamil also surpassed his performance on Saturday and David is jumping at a very high level, the Austrian praised his players.
