Timetable for the World Championships in Athletics. Program starts for Poles in Eugene 2022 on July 23/24

The World Championships in Athletics are slowly coming to an end. On the penultimate day of the competition, the focus will be on running sports. It is in this type of competition that the white-red ones start.

World Athletics Championship. Poles have chances for medals

First, we’ll see Claudia Sichiars and Pia Skrzysowska in action in the 100m hurdles. Later, two Polish relay teams - a woman and a man - will compete for reaching the final and possible medals. Particularly exciting will be the launch of Matusinsky’s Angels, where a lot has happened in recent weeks in connection with Anna Kelbasinsky’s announcement. So far, representatives of our country have won four discs - three silver medals (including two by Katarzyna Zdzieblo) and one zloty.

In addition, athletes will compete in the decathlon, long jump, triple jump, 800m and 5000m. Below we present the competition schedule for 23/24 July.

• 21:10 - men’s decathlon (shot put)

• 2:40 - 4x400m relay, men - qualifying heats (Kajetan Dushinski, Maximilian Klepacki, Mateusz Zezniczak, Jan Wawrzkowicz, Karol Zalewski, Timoteusz Zimny)

• 3:00 - triple jump, men - final

• 3:10 - men’s 800m - final
