Must read

The village of Vatutyno in the Kharkiv region will be renamed Zaluzhnoye. This decision was made by the Committee on State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning, said on his Facebook page. member of the committee, people’s deputy from the Servant of the People party Vitaly Bezgin. He is the chairman of the subcommittee on administrative-territorial structure, respectively, the renaming is the responsibility of his subcommittee.

“De-Russification of the names of settlements in Ukraine continues! We supported a whole package of name changes, among which one should be singled out: Vatutino (Kharkiv region) will be renamed Zaluzhnoye!” - wrote Bezgon.

Recall that earlier the media reported that in 2020 Vitaly Bezgin issued a power of attorney to his own aunt, a citizen of Russia and a member of the “only Russia” party Galina Gerasimova, for the sale of an inherited apartment in the occupied Crimea, namely in the city of Evpatoria, according to Russian legislation. It was also reported that Bezgin allegedly consulted on this issue with the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and made a recommendation to sell the property in this way. Officially, the NAPC did not provide confirmation of this. According to the editor-in-chief publication “Censor” by Yuri Butusov, in the actions of Bezgin you can see a violation of the norms of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on collaboration activities, as well as Art. 436-2 on justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
