Sadovy threatens Galinvest with a lynching, the company accuses the mayor of Lvov of wanting to get “fate”: what is happening

Must read

On May 30, a court session of the Western Economic Court of Appeal was held on the appeal of the Lviv City Council to the Limited Liability Company Ukrainian-Austrian Joint Venture Galinvest. According to the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, the subject of the dispute is land and property in the center of Lviv (we are talking about the Lviv Dobrobut market), which was allegedly cynically stolen from the city. Its total cost, according to the mayor, is more than 500 million hryvnias.

“Everything that starts in Moscow is a big scam. How the creation of this enterprise in Moscow began (and continues to this day. Because it looks like they wanted to rob the community from the very beginning. So far, it looks like all these scams continued systematically and systematically, so the city lost assets, ” - approves Mayor of Lviv Andrey Sadovy. In his address on the eve of the meeting, the mayor said that “If honest courts don’t work, then lynch courts do.”

It should be noted that the Lviv City Council lost the court in the first instance, and the claims were denied completely. And during the meeting of the Western Economic Court of Appeal, they could not put an end to this dispute. Consequently, the meeting was adjourned.

“But what is really alarming, despite the fact that the land plot was provided to the Galinvest joint venture back in 1990, and the city council agreed to place the industrial and food market in 1999, Andrey Sadovy did not see this as a problem for 15 years as mayor “, - writes “4 studio”.

According to lawyer Evgeniy Leiko, LLC “Joint Ukrainian-Austrian Venture “Galinvest” belongs to an Austrian company, the ultimate beneficiary is a Lviv resident Valery Kholodilo. He also added that the site of the Dobrobut market belongs to the city “and always belonged to him”. This, according to him, is evidenced by entries in the Unified State Register. Also, according to Leiko, every mayor of Lviv allegedly “participated in the signing of documents relating to this story.”

In turn, Galinvest reacted to the video message from the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy.

“… Sadovyi, for 16 years as mayor of Lviv, did not notice “gross violations” and did not dispute the legal grounds for the presence of the Dobrobut market in the center of Lviv. And only now he loudly announced alleged “gross violations”. Such time-slowed vigilance of an official can only indicate the presence of a hidden motive in his actions, and in fact, the desire to seize our property and business. SUAP GALINVEST LLC, represented by the owners, did not believe until the last moment that the reason for the current conflict with the mayor of Lviv, which began in 2022, was the probable failure to receive “fate” in our company, which we were repeatedly warned about,” the company says in an open letter.

They called on the mayor of Lvov, Andriy Sadovy, to refrain from manipulative influences during the consideration of the case.

“We are frightened by the fact that in a rule of law state, the head of the city’s society, under a far-fetched pretext, initiated a lawsuit in order to create legal grounds for a possible seizure of a private enterprise and in order to achieve its business interests, for which it threatens to use a lynch court,” says the open letter.

Lviv media write that Sadovy’s actions are similar to manipulation, because the official could not have been unaware of the situation with property in the city center.

“So Sadovy was in the fate of the Dobrobut market all these years of his mayorship, and when he smelled fried, he decided to apply to the Prosecutor General’s Office because of the alleged theft of communal property on the site of the former Dobrobut market. But why Sadovyi remembered almost 20 years of judicial red tape right now is not entirely clear. It seems that while Andrei Ivanovich was in the fate of the owner of the Dobrobut market, Valeriy Kholololo, the land plot in the very center of Lviv was not of interest to the officials of the mayor’s office,” - writes “The Fourth Studio”.

Earlier wrote about the possible creation of a political alliance between the political force of the mayor of Sadovoy and the “Voice” party because of a scandalous loan. And also why deputy Yuriy Lomaga sent the mayor of Lvov for a Russian ship.
