Immediately after the promulgation and submission of the mobilization bill to parliament, as well as after the resignation of Valery Zaluzhny, the NGO “Advanced Legal Initiatives” (API) conducted a sociological survey among Ukrainians. It was these two events - the resignation of Valery Zaluzhny and the introduction of a mobilization bill into parliament - that changed the political preferences of Ukrainians, the survey says.
According to him, Ukrainians do not accept the mobilization and consider it unfair.
Thus, 89.72% of respondents spoke out against forced mobilization. At the same time, the absolute majority, which amounted to 93.97%, was in favor of voluntary mobilization using additional financial motivation. Also, 86.54% of respondents responded favorably to the call of security forces working in the rear.

Ukrainians also spoke out categorically against the resignation of Valery Zaluzhny. This answer was given by 80.45% of respondents.
Answering the question about the presidential elections in Ukraine, the votes were distributed as follows. So, if the presidential elections in Ukraine were held today, then Valery Zaluzhny would receive more votes among those who have decided and are going to go to the polling stations. 38.16% of Ukrainians are ready to support him. In second place is the current President Vladimir Zelensky with 16.17% support. In third place is the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko. 9.91% of respondents are ready to support it. The fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, was in fourth place by a small margin with 8.08% support.

If Valery Zaluzhny does not participate in the presidential race, then the results of the expression of will of those who have made their choice look like this: Vladimir Zelensky - 21.01%, Yulia Tymoshenko - 18.83%, Petro Poroshenko - 14.14%, Vitaliy Klitschko - 6 .64%.
At the same time, if parliamentary elections were held today, then Valery Zaluzhny’s party has a chance to get into the Verkhovna Rada - 36.92%, Vladimir Zelensky’s bloc - 12.76%, Yulia Tymoshenko’s Batkivshchyna - 9.84%, European solidarity” Petro Poroshenko - 7.65%. The rest gain much less than 3%.
The sociological survey was conducted on February 9-11, 2024 by the NGO “Advanced Legal Initiatives” in Ukraine (except for the occupied and front-line regions) and abroad (where the largest number of Ukrainian refugees are).
The study involved 5,105 respondents aged 18 years and over. 50% were interviewed using the “face-to-face” interview method and 50% by telephone through the mobile application of the “IQR” system, developed by PPI specialists. The representativeness error does not exceed 2.0%.
