Petro Poroshenko is the only one accused of treason for whom the prosecutor did not limit the time frame for familiarizing himself with the criminal proceedings. He gets acquainted with a case where he is accused of high treason for financing terrorist organizations of the so-called “L/DPR” for 1.5 years. Social activists plan to apply to the Guinness Book of Records to perpetuate this fact, writes Law and Business.
“Petro Poroshenko has every chance of being included in the Guinness Book of Records as the most successful accused of high treason. He is the only traitor to the Motherland for whom the prosecutor did not limit the time frame for familiarizing himself with the criminal proceedings,” – notes Law and Business.
The publication recalls the violation of criminal proceedings in the “coal case” by the State Bureau of Investigation for Poroshenko. He was also charged with suspicion of high treason and collusion with the Russian Federation and the LPR.
“He was declared suspected of facilitating the activities of terrorist organizations, which consisted of a criminal conspiracy with representatives of Russia, according to which Ukraine abandoned coal from the South African Republic in favor of coal from enterprises in the occupied territories, while paying money for coal directly to the terrorists called “DPR” and “LPR” – writes Law and Business.
Journalists report that on September 2, 2022, the defense was informed of the completion of the pre-trial investigation and given access to the materials.
“As of today, P. Poroshenko has been familiar with the case for exactly 1.5 years. Social activists plan to contact representatives of the Guinness Book of Records on this matter to perpetuate this outstanding fact,” – “Law and Business” summarizes.
Earlier it was reported that in 2022, the detained traitor Medvedchuk gave evidence to the SBU about the assistance of Petro Poroshenko in the purchase of coal in the so-called “Luhansk and Donetsk people’s republics.”
The other day it became known that Poroshenko must compensate Ukraine for $210 million in losses for the illegally appropriated Samara-Western oil pipeline.
At the same time, the fifth president of Ukraine himself is demanding half a million hryvnia in court from the border guards who did not let him into Poland.
