In Ukraine, where there is a fight against collaborators, leader of the Communist Party banned in Ukraine Petro Symonenko wanted. The relevant information appeared in the Ministry of Internal Affairs database.

Information about Simonenko is posted in the section “A person who is hiding from the pre-trial investigation authorities.” The date of disappearance of the politician is indicated as August 19, 2023.

As FACTS wrote, last year the Security Service of Ukraine reported suspicion of Symonenko, who fled to Russia during the occupation of the Kiev region, accompanied by Russian special forces.

According to law enforcement officers, in early March 2022, during the occupation of the Kiev region, the head of the Communist Party of Ukraine turned to the highest military-political leadership of Russia with a request to take him out of Ukraine. A detachment of Russian special forces was sent to the village of Berezovka, Makarovsky district, which was captured at that time, where Simonenko lived. Subsequently, the occupation special forces “escorted” Pyotr Symonenko and his relatives from behind enemy checkpoints into the territory of Belarus.
