City mayor of Kamensky took part in the Sixth German-Ukrainian Conference of Municipal Partnerships in Leipzig. This conference was held with the participation of the Federal President of Germany Franco-Walter Steinmeier and the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, distinguished speakers at local, national and international levels, mayors of many German and Ukrainian cities and other participants. The main goal of the conference is to establish connections between Germany and Ukraine, as well as their cities.
“Kamenskoye is actively working to attract European investment. There is a special city program “Investment in the City”, under which we managed to attract a total of 80 million euros for the implementation of projects in the fields of medicine, education, social protection, energy efficiency and transport. At this stage, projects worth 7 million euros have already been implemented, 21 million euros are in the process of implementation and projects worth 52 million euros will be implemented in the next 2-3 years.“- noted Mayor Belousov.
Also during the conference, he gave an interview to journalists from the organizers and told in which areas Ukraine needs more help at this time.

“I am sincerely grateful to our German and other European partners for their support of initiatives, cooperation, exchange of experience and assistance to Ukraine”– Belousov thanked the organizers.
It should be added that the Dnepropetrovsk region was represented by the mayors of Dnieper, Kamensky, Novomoskovsk and Verkhnedneprovsk.
