No more long waiting times at the NFZ hotline. An electronic advisor will help you

Must read

Some time ago, the National Health Fund introduced a new service to help patients contact an NHF officer. We tell you what it is and who can benefit from it.

Until now, patients have had the opportunity to consult with an NFZ consultant, including through a hotline. However, this method was not reliable. It happened that people who needed advice had to queue because there were several other connections ahead. However, now, thanks to the new service, contacting the NFZ employee has become easier, but also much more comfortable. During such a meeting, the adviser does not check the identity of the person, but only answers questions that concern him.

What is the e-adviser service introduced by the National Health Fund?

This is a free service offered by the National Health Fund that allows you to consult with a member of the National Health Fund office. it takes place via videoconference, through the public Microsoft Teams app. The duration of this meeting is 20 minutes. In a situation where it is extended, the National Health Fund officer may terminate it in connection with the next scheduled meetings. However, this time seems to be enough to get answers to the most important questions.

With this e-adviser, you can talk about general topics related to activities carried out by the National Health Foundation. It is also important to remember that the employee will not solve a specific problem - for example, insurance status. However, you will be able to find out, among other things, about your rights or the formalities that must be followed when applying for benefits. Such a consultant will have the relevant knowledge, which means that he will help patients interested in the following issues:

  • medical insurance,

  • the right to medical services,

  • Spa treatment,

  • patients’ rights, complaints,

  • rules for granting benefits and special rights (blood donors, veterans),

  • voluntary insurance, premium amount,

  • reimbursement and fulfillment of orders for medical products,

  • reimbursement of medical expenses,

  • medical facilities and available treatment dates,

  • transportation of patients

  • trusted profile,

  • rules for completing applications

  • prevention and health promotion, portal diet.nfz.gov.pl,

  • rules for filling out and submitting an application for an ESCO and a certificate replacing the ESCO,

  • rules of circulation in the EU / EFTA territory,

  • planned treatment.

How and when can you contact the NFZ e-adviser?

A person who needs the advice of an NFZ consultant can take advantage of his help through such an online meeting. on all working days from 8:00 to 16:00. A great convenience is the fact that such a meeting requires a recording - and this, in turn, means that you will avoid unnecessary waiting and wasting time, which can occur when trying to connect to the hotline.
To contact an advisor, first click on the link e-doradca.nfz and then select your province, date and time of the meeting and choose what will be the subject of the conversation. It is also obligatory to indicate your e-mail address and mark the corresponding consents (regarding the processing of personal data and images in the form of voice and image).

Everyone who books such a meeting receives a confirmation to their email address and a link to the meeting that will take place. When booking after 16:00 - a link to the meeting will be sent the next business day. At the appointed time, simply click on the link to contact an NFZ consultant. Before the meeting, you should prepare an electronic device (laptop, smartphone, tablet, phone) with Internet access.
