For a long time, scientists and psychologists have been fascinated by the different personality types that govern human behavior. Katherine Briggs and Isabelle Myers developed a classification that is used to determine the type of personality. It is useful, for example, when choosing a life partner.
The Myers-Briggs test does not mean that one personality is better than another. It aims to show people their strengths and weaknesses and enable them to better understand themselves.
The MBTI test determines:
-
extroverts as action-oriented people who enjoy social interaction,
-
introverts as thinking people for whom social relationships are tiring.
According to experts, all people have some extraverted and introverted characteristics. The test determines what percentage of introverted and extraverted characteristics a person has.
First scale
The first scale is extraversion (E) - introversion (I). This dichotomy was first established by Jung, who proposed that our position on the scale determines how we interact with the world around us.
second scale
The second scale of personality is feeling (S) - intuition (N). It shows how people collect information from the outside world:
-
reasonable people pay great attention to details and the surrounding reality and like to take a direct part in activities,
-
Intuitive people follow patterns and impressions when they think about the future and imagine how their life might turn out.
Third scale
The third scale analyzes how people make decisions. This is the thinking (T) - feeling (F) scale:
-
people are thought-focused, rational, and focused on objective facts about a problem,
-
Feeling-driven people make decisions based on subjective factors, such as the impact of their actions on other people.
fourth scale
The last scale is judgment (J) - perception (P). This explains how people tend to deal with the outside world:
-
evaluators need structure and clear guidelines,
-
perceivers are more receptive and adapt flexibly to change.
If you combine the scores on all four of these scales together, you get one of the sixteen personality types. Of all the personality types, there are 3 who have the most successful relationships. You can check what type of personality you belong to by combining the letters that describe the above ways of perceiving reality.
The Personality Types Who Have the Most Successful Relationships in Relationships
INFJ type, i.e. advocate
The INFJ personality is characterized by a high level of empathy. People with this personality are romantic and love unconditionally, know how to listen, show affection and care for a loved one with whom they want to create a long, strong relationship.
ENTP type, i.e. debatable
The ENTP personality is characterized by a tendency to look for a partner with whom you can live for many years, and not just spin a stormy romance. ENTP loves unconditionally and is able to devote himself to his loved one, giving him his time and attention, striving to ensure a decent life for himself and his beloved.
INFP type or mediator
The INFP personality is characterized by exceptional concern for a loved one. People with this personality type love romantic relationships and are empathetic, they may be defensive at the beginning of a relationship, but become reliable and committed partners for life.
