You need some bitterness

When used in the right amount, tinctures improve blood circulation and digestion. But tinctures contain alcohol, and drinking alcohol can be hazardous to health. Children and pregnant women should not drink tinctures. It is also forbidden to drive vehicles after drinking tinctures, as well as after drinking alcohol.
