After the corruption scandal Odessa military commissar Evgeny Borisovin Ukraine, the heads of territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCC and SP) were checked.
A meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine was held under the chairmanship of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, where the participants heard information about the results of the check of the TCC from the director of the State Bureau of Investigation Oleksiy Sukhachev, the head of the Security Service Vasily Malyuk, the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko, the Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, the head of the National Anti-Corruption Agency Alexander Novikov and Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Semyon Krivonos. This was reported in the press service of the head of state.
“When checking the TCC, law enforcement agencies revealed cases of corruption, in particular, during the general mobilization, which pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine and undermine confidence in state institutions. In this regard, the National Security Council recommended that Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, appoint, on the recommendations of the heads of operational-tactical and operational-strategic groups, officers directly involved in hostilities to the positions of heads of regional TCCs after they pass an SBU check. The Office of the Prosecutor General, together with the NACP and the State Bureau of Investigation, is recommended to take additional measures to counter the commission of corruption offenses by officials of the TCC”- the message says.
