Ukrainian military posted a video with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. Earlier, Russian media wrote that he was allegedly wounded. Video posted Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Shtefan (known under the call sign “Stirlitz”).
In the video, Stefan says that the recording was made on Thursday, May 25.
“Throughout May, we are seeing enchanting fantasy stories from Russian propaganda. As well as various conspiracy theories from the so-called experts”, – says the Ukrainian military. Next, the camera moves to Zaluzhnoye.
“I thank all Ukrainians, together we will definitely win – and not only today, always”Zaluzhny says.
Thus, Zaluzhny dispelled the false rumors spread by Russian propagandists that he was allegedly incapacitated after being wounded.
Formerly Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov reportedthat Zaluzhny took part in a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander.
According to Danilov, at a meeting on Wednesday, which began at 10.00, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “heard at the Headquarters the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and other members of the Headquarters.”
It should be noted that on Wednesday, RIA Novosti wrote, citing unnamed sources, that Zaluzhny was allegedly injured and a craniotomy was performed. Later, the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, said that his agency “receives data on the injuries” of Zaluzhny, but he cannot “guarantee that this information is 100% reliable.”
As wrote, earlier Zaluzhny spoke about the consequences of the recent enemy air attack. On the night of May 16, Russia attacked Ukraine with 18 missiles of various types, among which were Kinzhals. All hostile targets were destroyed.
