On the night of December 11, the Russian occupiers launched an air strike on Ukraine, using 18 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type, and also sent eight ballistic missiles in the direction of Kyiv. All air targets were destroyed. In total, over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 3 missile and 61 air strikes, and carried out 67 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. More than 100 settlements of Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions came under artillery fire.

Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky, notes that the operational situation in the East remains difficult – the enemy does not stop conducting offensive operations along the entire front. And Brigadier General, commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, Igor Tarnavsky, said that the occupiers reduced the number of assault operations and again began to use aviation for strikes – the day before, the enemy carried out 6 air strikes in the Tavria direction, carried out 33 combat clashes2 and fired shots2.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 98 military clashes were recorded at the front.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their positions on the achieved lines.

  • In the Avdeevka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is not abandoning attempts to cordon off Avdeevka. Our soldiers steadfastly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The defense forces successfully repelled 49 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoy, Avdeevka, south of Severny and Tonenky, Pervomaisky of the Donetsk region.

  • In the Maryinsky direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold the enemy in the Maryinka and Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region, where our defenders repulsed 18 attacks.

  • In the Shakhtarsky direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area southeast of Ugledar, Donetsk region.

  • In the Zaporozhye direction, the Defense Forces repelled 3 enemy attacks in the Robotinoy area of ​​the Zaporozhye region.

  • In the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to actively inflict damage to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

  • In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy’s rear.

Units of the missile forces inflicted defeats on 3 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment and 1 area of ​​enemy ammunition.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed about 90 units of enemy equipment and more than a thousand invaders.
