Defense Forces hit two important enemy targets and destroyed 2 occupants’ ammunition depots - General Staff

The Russians continue to shell Ukraine. During the day, the enemy launched 1 missile and 3 air strikes, carried out 5 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and the civilian infrastructure of settlements. This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. The settlements of Belogorovka, Bakhmut, Avdeevka, Marinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities. 47 enemy attacks were repulsed in the indicated directions.- the message says.

The General Staff noted that in the Kupyansk and Limansk directions during the day the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of ​​Stelmahovka, Kuzminoye and Berestovoy. In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues the assault operations of the city of Bakhmut. However, the Ukrainian defenders courageously hold the city and repel numerous enemy attacks. On the Avdeevka and Maryinsky directions, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the areas of Novobakhmutovka, Novokalinovoye, Stepnoye, Avdeevka, Severny, Vodyanoye, Krasnogorovka and Maryinka of the Donetsk region, but was not successful.

“Aviation of the Defense Forces in a day delivered 6 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers, and units of missile forces and artillery hit 2 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment and 2 ammunition depots of the enemy”- reported in the General Staff.
