The Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development will promote the use of the RE: Ukraine Villages online constructor during housing restoration. Thus, the ministry and the developer designer Balbek bureau will cooperate in the restoration of rural houses in the Kyiv region. This is discussed in the message of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
“Thousands of rural houses have so far been damaged or destroyed. Projects such as the online constructor from Balbek bureau will greatly simplify the process of restoring houses and save money for the victims.“, - said Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister for the Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
It is reported that the online solution of the bureau, created on the basis of studies of adjacent territories, configurations and architectural features of destroyed houses in the villages of the Kiev region, can be used to restore a house or design a new one. And the study of adjacent territories, configurations of houses, on the basis of which the designer was created, was carried out by Balbek bureau as part of an expedition to 17 de-occupied villages of the Kiev region. The constructor offers more than 211 million unique configurations of houses for the Kiev region to choose from.
Recall that Balbek bureau is an architecture and interior design studio that designs commercial, corporate and residential spaces in Ukraine, Europe, the USA and Asia. The total area of balbek bureau facilities is 135,000 square meters.
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the bureau team has developed a number of RE:Ukraine System social initiatives, in particular the RE:Ukraine Housing temporary housing system and the RE:Ukraine Monuments monument protection solution.
