Information about sanctions against Favbet is not true: company statement

Favbet, as a leading market operator, operates in Ukraine legally, under valid Ukrainian licenses, and asks not to spread false information about the sanctions that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky imposed on March 10 against bookmakers and lotteries for a period of 50 years according to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council. Decree No. 145/2023 “On the application and amendment of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)” enters into force from the date of publication. “Favbet is not on the list of sanctions, since it operates exclusively on the territory of Ukraine and a number of countries of the European Union - Croatia, Romania and Malta. Favbet, as a leading market operator, operates legally in Ukraine, under valid Ukrainian licenses. No sanctions have been imposed on the Favbet group of companies. The wave of black PR about Favbet, which was picked up by some Ukrainian media, is planned and violates all journalism standards.the company said in a statement.

Representatives of the company ask the media to comply with the standards of journalism, study the source in detail and not spread fakes about Favbet and the Favbet Foundation, 95% of whose projects are now reoriented to help the country, migrants and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
