It’s an exciting concept, complete with great practical effects and emotional performances.

animal kingdom The action takes place in the near future, when a mysterious disease has caused strange mutations in the human body. Without any prior warning, infected people begin to turn into animals and become feral. Each person turns into a different animal, and without clear indications of what causes the mutations, there is a widespread fear that your loved ones may become beasts. In addition, as the number of cases grows exponentially, government officials are rushing to find solutions to contain the disease and care for those who are infected. That’s why, instead of spending too much time explaining the rules of mutation, the film throws us into the midst of a complex family drama based on a sci-fi story. While there is a phenomenal cast of characters in animal kingdomwe basically follow François (Roman Duris) and Emil (Paul Kircher), father and son were taken away from home due to illness. François’ wife has been turned into a Thing, and once she’s moved to a complex in the south of France, the family moves to stay close to her, hoping for a possible cure and reunion. Unfortunately, chaos soon breaks into their lives after an accident unleashes dozens of creatures, including Francois’ wife. What makes things even more complicated is that Emil is starting to change too, and he does his best to hide it from other people.
